Oil Print Process

Instant gratification seems to be an addiction and a need in modern times.        Through the use of digital photography combined with the old photographic oil printmaking process, I strive to reconnect two worlds that are far apart.              

The immediate and fast of nowadays, where everything is revealed and detailed, as opposed to a slow, meticulous and patient developing process, where soft edged lines and shapes, transmit a sense of calmness and stillness. This process lends itself to a greater sense of imagination and wonder.
